Okay I went on a vacation. Yes a real vacation. I got on a plane I went to a location other than my home and I set out to enjoy. It seemed like I got off to a great start, I ditched the family and hit the bar. The bar was more to kill some time and to ease my nerves. It was great! I read a magazine, ate some dinner and had one cocktail to start off my fun. The plane was not full and when I say not full I mean I had a whole row to myself and was able to use it all. I read, I listenend to my ipod shuffle, had a gingerale and waited for the next phase...

My sister, who I was going to visit, arrived just after my plane touched down. I got in her vehicle and she set out to get me acquainted with my surroundings in a dark and different city. Still don't know if we were headed N, S, E, or W. I tried I really did. I love vacation although I have never been on a plane out of state. I was a little nervous and excited at the same time. I wanted to relax, hang with my sis and get to know what she does in all these different cities. Well, I learned that I like to be and my sister likes to do. So we did...we went to have cocktails and plan and just catch up, then we went to bed to start the next day.

It started off with a walk to Starbucks then showers and off to some bar out in nowhere to watch the Steelers in a Steeler Bar. An experience I might have a little trouble remembering since they were giving out free Bud products to people who weren't drinking Bud. The next day entailed a beautiful drive, a hike, a beautiful chuch that came out of a rock(amazing), driving around for a bagel place, and back to her place. We then went to a movie I wanted to see, bed and packing. Today I prepared to leave and ate, visited and here I am. Home safe and sound a little pink cheeked and happy to be home.
