ALL DONE!

Yes we made it the world did not come to an end we survived the holidays with a little joy to be had. We decorated and went tree hunting at a farm with just our fam which was unusual(we normally have a few buddies to buffer). We wrapped and unwrapped and baked and ate and all of the other fun things that the holidays bring.

Then we celebrated Christmas...we went to church on Christmas morning after opening what the fat man brought us and remembered the reason we do all the stuff. I love to give, I love it! The prep that goes into the gift and the person who receives it is all fun. Christmas though is about the receiving, the miracle of birth, the beauty of hope, the wonder of a Savior. I love thinking about that. I have received the most precious gift and I get to remember it every year at Christmas. I love my husband and my daughter and all the other crazy family, but what a gift.

So in the new year I have made resolutions that I am going to try and uphold, but I am definately going to try most to remember the gift more than just once this year.
